Check in at Terminal One

Upon arrival you will be greeted by a member of our friendly front office team. After a quick check in you will be issued with a stinger suit and then given a video briefing before leaving the terminal to alight your seaplane.

Depart Whitsunday Airport

As our aircraft are amphibious you will take off on the airport runway and then commence your scenic flight to the Great Barrier Reef. Take in the sights of Shute Harbour, Long Island, Daydream Island and the Whitsunday Passage before flying between Hook Island and Whitsunday Island and then atop of the dark blue depths of the Coral Sea. As you approach the Great Barrier Reef you will start to see the stunning azure shades and formations of Bait Reef, Hook Reef and Hardy Lagoon. Your pilot will then point out Heart Reef to you and perform aerial work atop of the Heart Reef to capture that picture perfect postcard shot. Then experience an exhilerating water landing as you dock alongside our private semi submersible vessel.

Arrive Great Barrier Reef

All tours to this private location are scheduled around low tide; being surrounded by a reef wall it creates a suspended coral lagoon for the aircraft to land. Our guests are able to take advantage of snorkelling, while rejuvenating in the refreshing waters amongst ancient coral gardens teeming with marine life. During low tide our location is only 2-6 metres deep providing the first time snorkeller with more confidence due to the comfortable conditions, while the more experienced can enjoy the abundance of sea life and coral that the added protection of the reef wall has provided.

Depart Great Barrier Reef

Say goodbye to our private lagoon as you take off again from the calm waters of Hardy Lagoon and commence the flight back to the airport. On the return flight you get to take in more views of the Great Barrier Reef along with Hayman Island the northern side of Hook Island and the Molle group of islands.
