The largest seaplane fleet in the Southern Hemisphere
Air Whitsunday’s seaplane fleet has developed during many successful years of operation, expanding and adapting to accommodate the growing demand for tourists wanting to visit this amazing frontier. Our current fleet of amphibious aircraft is proudly the largest in the Southern Hemisphere and includes three Cessna Caravans and three de Havilland Beavers. The Cessna Caravan is a modern turbine powered aircraft, providing air-conditioned comfort and a luxurious interior for up to ten passengers. The de Havilland Beaver is a classic and rugged workhorse, ideal for our island hopping conditions accommodating up to six passengers.
